Preparing the Quilt

The backing must be significantly larger than your quilt top—typically at least 3 to 6 inches wider and longer on all four sides.
Fold the quilt top and backing separately.
Press all seams down on your backing fabric so they lie completely flat.
Quilt backing must be one piece and square.
Clip all loose threads from the back and front of the quilt top.
Minimum quilting fee is $50.00

Batting

We currently use Hobbs 80/20 Cotton/Polyester Hobbs batting.

I hereby authorize Purple Ballerina Quilting Company to perform the long-arm machine quilting listed above on my quilt. I understand that I am financially responsible for the cost of services rendered by Purple Ballerina Quilting Company and for all the materials used in this process. I further understand that Purple Ballerina Quilting Company is not responsible for any damages to the quilt by any cause that is beyond their control, including but not limited to flood, fire, theft, or mechanical failure. If the quilt is displayed in a show or publication, you agree to credit the machine quilting to Purple Ballerina Quilting Company.
